Dominant Dog Collar

Sizing: Measure the circumference of your dog’s head at the largest point and add two inches. Kirby K9 DDC collar sizes are measured from end to end and are within half an inch of the exact measurement. Example: If your dog’s head circumference is 18 inches at the widest point, you would order a 20 inch Kirby K9 DDC collar or larger. Sizing is also consistent with Herm Sprenger choke and fur saver sizes, so if you know your Herm Sprenger size, it will be the same for the Kirby K9 Dominant Dog Collar.

Kirby’s Dominant Dog Collar is made with a 600 lb rated monofiliment that is 2.5mm in width (1/10 of an inch). The attachment points of the live and dead ring are made out of black brass. The Kirby K9 Dominant Dog Collar weights only 15 grams (1/2 ounce), is super light weight, but incredibly strong. One of the trade offs with an ultra thin dominant collar is the ability to lock it in place. While our stopper does a good job holding it’s place, it does not stay locked down if your dog is very active, shakes a lot, or wearing the collar for longer training sessions. Sizing exactly like your Herm Sprenger collar will help reduce the need for the stopper. Only use this collar while actively training with the dog, and remove if the dog is unattended or not actively supervised.
